Did I do it???
Okay, I could be mistaken, but I think I made it work. Go check out the Custom Dyes page and order as much as you want. 🙂
After much grief and futzing around, I ended up just using the pictures from the old yarns page, and not nearly as many as I wanted. But it is functional and much more condensed than the previous ordering method I was using before. If you have a problem, PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP.
You will notice that the pricing on multiples of the same color automatically get a discount! That’s because multiples of the same color get dyed together, so it is a little less work at the dye station. Did you know it takes longer to mix the various dyes for each job than it does to actually apply the dye?
The Custom Dyes page needs to be seen as far and wide as possible, so pleeeeeeze feel free to share the direct link to the Custom Dyes page, tell your friends on Facebook, Ravelry, Twitter, Google+, wherever about Knitivity. With the regular summer slump compounded by many days working on this upgraded Web site, I’m way behind on buying yarn as well as shipping and everything else. I know I’ve said it before, but I need to sell 40-50 skeins a week, consistently, in order to stay afloat, and I’m averaging 4-5 a week for the last few months (a few “pretty good” weekends with a lot of weeks with no sales), so I am constantly juggling between keeping the lights and water on, or buying yarns, or getting groceries.
Don’t forget the Referral Bonus: if you have already bought from me, and you tell a friend who also buys, you get a 10% discount on your next order. The only catch: your friend must let me know with their FIRST order they were referred by you, so that I can let you know you have a discount coming.
So, now that that page is up, I’m going to chill out for the evening, if that’s okay with y’all. 🙂
