Announcing: ‘Butterfly Wings’ shawl pattern
Ruth Park, an young new designer, and daughter of long-time Knitivity fan Linda Jo Park (Linda Jo designed several patterns for Knitivity as well to be re-released in September), has just sent me a new lace shawl design especially for Primo Lace. It is called “Butterfly Wings” and can be found on the Patterns page. Isn’t it beautiful!!
The pattern will only be available through Knitivity until the end of the year, and for a limited time you can even get it free with yarn purchase. See the Patterns page for details. This great pattern
I am excited to present Ruth’s work and help give her exposure as she expands her design work.
About the designer, Ruth Park
Ruth Park has been knitting for 4 years and designing for 1 1/2 years. She took up the needles after years of resisting her mom’s attempt to get her into knitting and started designing when she found herself overflowing with ideas for knitted items and no already written patterns that looked like what she imagined. The Butterfly Wings Shawl was inspired by the yarn itself which spoke to her about delicate, colorful wings. Her currently available patterns and information about upcoming patterns is available on her blog, or you can find more frequent updates on her tumblr.
