Re-thinking
Okay, so yesterday was a series of unpleasantness, along with some goodies. When Mr. UPS brought the box of yarns I was in the middle of cussing at a skein of the Falkland Superwash sport. For some reason nearly all the skeins of this yarn ended up tangling between the swift and the skein winder, which caused the swift to topple and the winder to stop.
One skein in particular fell off the swift and became a most unholy mess, with half already on the winder and the other half a mess on the floor. It took me an hour to make sense of it, but only after I just put the whole thing aside and did the other two remaining skeins, which (thankfully) gave me no grief.
I had thought I would just take these last three skeins and make them into something. Apparently i don’t get paid for thinking.
I was reminded that Comcast gave me until today to get my account current (EEK), so I need to make a payment to them today or learn to love biking to the library to do my work.
So, these are the LAST THREE skeins of Falkland Superwash Sport. The green-ish tones are in all three , so they may or may not play nicely together. But there’s enough for individual hats or other smaller projects, with 325 yards apiece. (And here are several free patterns for this much yarn!) They were going at $18.95 apiece, but you can have all three for $50.00 (and $4.00 shipping in the U.S.). Just be the first to claim them by email, I’ll send you a PayPal and get these into the mail tomorrow to you.
SOLD!!
And now, into the rest of my very busy day I go!
