My mistakes, your gains!
Earlier I showed you a skein going out this afternoon to a customer who wanted a Midnight Green Fade/Turquoise Fade combo.
The mistake happened because I printed the recent orders out, and from them I made a single dye worksheet, so that I could see all the dye jobs on a single sheet, and what yarns were required. I do this so that I can batch the orders and minimize dye waste. Anyway, we had emailed about a different combo request, which I noted as I compiled my list, but then I saw Midnight Green Fade and completely did not see the Turquoise Fade request on another line. So between writing my list and packing the order I wasn’t actually look at the individual request, just going by my to-do list.
Anyway… this is the skein I originally dyed for her. It is on Knitterman’s Lace, so it is 100% Merino, 1125 yards. I’m not in the mood for updating the BRS page today (because there will be bunches more to add over the weekend), but this one needs to find a home before then. First one to claim it for $22.00 gets to keep it — just EMAIL TO CLAIM IT. SOLD
And, while I’m at it, here’s a pair of Phydlbitz that were supposed to have been Limeade Ice (super light green with flecks) that somehow all faded into itself, except for a few place where it appears almost pinky-beige. Even if that shade of green were correct, it would not have gone out normally because of the minor staining. And, seriously, these are the only two skeins in the world that will ideally work together.
SOLD
Phydlbitz are normally $24.50 a skein, but you can have both skeins for $40.00 – just EMAIL TO CLAIM THEM.
