Trying a new thing
Because of Virginia’s wonderful shawl picture yesterday, and the two-tone fade that another customer wanted, I decide I would try a bit of it myself. So, along with yesterday’s BRS dyes I dyed for myself a pair of Twins, in a mixed purple and straight turquoise double fade. (The ‘purple’ was made of some leftover mixed blues and leftover mixed reds — impossible for me to remember all the variations that were in either, since both were dump collections of little bits of other things.
Anyway, my two double fades are in the far right of the picture. Next to that are two single Phydlbitz Sock yarns, and all the rest of Knitterman’s Fingering.
These are not tagged and ready for early-bird claims; I need to see if the sun comes out so I can get decent shots. There are a couple of sets of Twins, so when I get them tagged and ready for show, I will be sure to put the Twins together.
Love your two fades on the right. They are gorgeous!
