Well, okay, so I started with the principles that I used on yesterday’s swatch, made a couple of changes, and came up with this:

Yesterday’s had 5 sections, with increases every 6th row.  This one has 6 sections, with increases on every right-side row.  If I continue, the two ‘top’ edges will soon overlap, which may or may not be a good thing, depending on how ‘snuggly’ you want your shawl to be.  Or, conversely, how drapey and floppy (and bulky) you wish it to be.  Either is fine, either is suited for different styles and purposes.
