New Toy! New Toy!!!!
Wheeee!
The Knitterman
just got a new toy!!!
And with that shape and all nestled into that bin of Blog Reader Specials (most of which are still available for adoption by the way!), it might look like a cased set of knitting needles, huh?
But it’s not! It is a new (to me) Kindle reader, sent by a friend who no longer uses it (thank you Melanie!!)
All duly registered and ready to use. It was a bit of a chore getting it registered, but I was able to do it over the phone, so at least any books or other materials I get can be downloaded now. (Just getting the phone number to call and register per their own online instructions took over 10 minutes!)
So now I need to know — what are your favorite sources for free Kindle-ready knitting and crochet books? I have no money for buying books right now, and there are several places to find collections of free casual reading, but where would I find free KNITTING or CROCHET related patterns and charts?
I still need to figure out all the details and settings, but as long as it is registered and the stuff I download can now be read on it, I’m happy as a clam. For now, anyway.
