New Leaves Progress
Since yarns won’t be here until Wednesday, I’m continuing to work on New Leaves.
It rests at about 20 inches long, but can stretch to 24, and there is LOTS of yarn left. had I known that, I might have begun a different project. But I am enjoying this.
At 21 repeats finished, I am STILL not able to just read my knitting to know what pattern row I’m supposed to do, so I still move the sticky-notes up, but now I only move them on the front-facing pattern rows. And, from the border stitches, I can actually discern the pattern row because the eyelets are staggered 1-2-3-4. But I’ll stick with the sticky-notes. Knowing what row I’m on, and knowing which stitches I need to do, are two different things.
The “New Leaves” pattern is a very pretty! I love it!!
Beautiful pattern and I really liked those shawls you posted. I’ve used sticky notes for years then bought a magnifier…but I end up still using the stickies!
