Late last week I received an order for a pair of Luscious to be done on Primo Lace.  This is what luscious looks like —  darkly red and romantic:

It is part of the “After Hours” collection, using just the blackened reds, with a tiny bit of the black and the blackened purple, minus any hint of the blackened blues that are in After Hours:

So, I was leaning into the reds, and the dyes migrated and I ended up with vaguely purples, not particularly dark, not particularly reds, not even particularly romantic.

Primo Lace is 80/20 merino/silk, and normally sells for $27.00 apiece when custom ordered, or $25.00 on the Blog Reader Specials page.  This pair is a definite example of “Ooops, that’s not what I intended.”   If you claim the pair this evening (Monday, 29July13, you can have them as a bundled pair for $45 (plus shipping/handling).  Tomorrow they’ll be on the Blog Reader Specials page as individuals.   If you want it, send me an email and be the first to claim it before midnight tonight!
