Yarns coming!
My supplier sent out a notice that their 100% Superwash Merino 3-ply fingering is back in stock. I’ve not used it before, but a lot of people like Superwash Merino for socks. It comes at about 320 yards per 4-ounce skein, with a gauge of 7 sts/in, US 0-3 needle, same as my Phydlbitz Sock.
So, last night I put up on order for a cone of the Superwash Merino AND a cone of the Knitterman’s Fingering.
With luck they will process the order today and I’ll get it in-house next Tuesday. The Superwash Merino will be $22.00 per 4-oz skein this time. I don’t have it on the regular line-up yet, but if there’s a good demand for it (measured by your responses and requests) I may include this in the regularly available options. I anticipate there will be 6-8 skeins available, so if you want to put in a claim for it now, please let me know and I’ll get you written up and into the queue. 🙂
I’ve not heard that the Phydlbitz Sock is on its way yet, so I’m going to offer the Superwash Merino to the two customers still patiently waiting for their Phydlbitz. (They will get the yardage they paid for, regardless of weight).
Also, if you know you want some of the Knitterman’s Fingering, go ahead and put in your orders this week so it can be put into the queue and dyed up when the yarn arrives and gets processed for dyeing. 🙂
