Woo-hoo…. Now I get a weekend!
Now that I’ve dyed the Blog Reader Specials, washed and dried them, and then fought with the clouds to get pictures posted, NOW the sun decides to come out.
Oh well… the Blog Reader Specials are done and posted, ready for immediate shipping! The group shots are here below, but you’ll need to check the Blog Reader Specials page to see which have been claimed, and which are still available.
First up I want to show an Amazing Pair of yarns, both on the new LaGrande – #44 and 48. I didn’t dye them deliberately to play together, but I like how the splatter technique ‘sticks’ on the Merino better than on some of the other yarns that allow the dye to migrate more. You can just imagine the amazing pair of striped knee high socks these would make, especially when done as “opposites” (red sock/blue toe&heel, blue sock/red toe&heel)
Here are the Knitterman’s Fingering (100% Superwash Corriedale, ~460 yards):
and the LaGrande (100% Superwash Merino, ~340 yards)
And now it’s all done, I get to rest and have a bit of weekend. 🙂
