The Time Draws Nearer!
I just spoke with my supplier to ask about the Phydlbitz — they have about 1000 pounds of my sock yarn base, with another 1000 pound order right after, coming from the ports in the east. In their new warehouse they literally have TONS of assorted yarns and fibers, so you can imagine the frustration of waiting on 1000 pounds of this or that, along with lots of patiently waiting customers like me … and YOU!
While the ports have been thawing out and getting unclogged various other yarns have been getting through — a couple weeks ago they got a container of about 25,000 pounds! But not my Phydlbitz.
Anyway, he said the container with the Phydlbitz should be leaving the port next week, and he should be able to start shipping to me within about 2 weeks. Since I know how things work in the real world, I’m going to say “2 to 3 weeks”. Until it is IN his warehouse, I’m not making any firm date promises.
But even so, knowing there is a prospective end in sight for this delay, I am happy. And I hope you will share my happiness. 🙂
OH! and as long as I’m here… this is the latest photo of The Sock!
