Lost in the Mix
What an “interesting” week it has been!
I am still getting used to the blood pressure meds, finding my b.p. down when I expected it to be up, and vice versa. And resting. For some reason, being stuck in the hospital wears you out just by doing nothing.
Anyway, last Sunday (or was it Monday?) I tackled into the list of pending orders and was able to dye a couple extras.
They came out like this:
which got rewound to look like these:
These are both Primo Lace, 80/20 Merino/Silk laceweight, 1000 yards apiece. You can visit the Blog Reader Specials page to claim them for your very own. I’m thinking I will rework the recipe for #78 — this was a leftover purple mix but I don’t recall *exactly* what was in it, splashed with brown to create a Dusty Plum sort of thing. But I’ll play with the recipe before putting it in the lineup.
Good to hear you’re coping and recovering. For years I was on meds for hypertension. Did all the “right” things…exercise, low sodium, stress relief, etc. nothing worked. Then I switched to low carb, high fat living. Suddenly my blood pressure went so low and I had to go off my meds. I lost weight, my cholesterol levels improved, my GERD disappeared.
I hope you have continued improved health!
