My Mistakes, Your Fun!
Last week and this I was trying to complete a job for someone. I was unhappy with the first attempt. I tried it again. I was even less happy. I tried it a third time, and the customer’s yarn is FINALLY out the door.
Which means I have a bunch of mistakes on my hands that need to find new homes. There’s nothing wrong with the yarn, it just didn’t dye up in a way that would allow me to send it out to the customer who asked for it.
Most of these were for a job reflecting the colors of the Minnesota Vikings, but they would also work for LSU or perhaps some other school colors. The two toned skeins are mostly purple, with a band of white/undyed separating the gold. The other two skeins (112 & 117) are ones where I started, I noticed a mistake right away and just threw random dye on it in frustration. 🙂
These are all Phydlbitz Sock, ~430 yards apiece, 75/25 Superwash Corriedale/Nylon, $24.50, and they are individual photographed over on the Blog Reader Specials page – be sure to go there to see which have already been claimed.
