Uptowne Road!
Many years ago, after I’d already had “Down Home Art Yarns”, I added “Uptowne Road” lace to my line-up. It was 100% Merino, and each skein was approx. 880 yards.
These 9 skeins were custom dyed for Knitting Asylum in Baton Rouge, back in November 2008. Now that Knitting Asylum is closed and liquidating their inventory, these few remaining Uptown Road have come back home to be sold again, but their price markings are from 2008. 🙂
They’ve all been added to the regular Blog Reader Specials page, as these are a straight sale, with the prices as marked – $24.95. Because they were individually dyed, they do have variations, so they’ve been photo’d and listed individually. Click over to the BRS page to see which ones you want. Request two or more of this collection, I’ll take $1 off each skein
For reference these colorways are “Blue Jeans”, “Watermelon”, and “Art School, Sr.”
Oh My Goodness Ray! So gorgeous! Why do I have to buy groceries and pay bills??? I wanna buy yarn! !!! LOL
I should point out for your customers that Banana Tree, Spanishtown, Mardi Gras and Rose Granite were custom colors available ONLY at the Knitting Asylum, so when they are gone, they are gone!
