As you may remember, a couple months ago it was announced that my supplier would be discontinuing the yarn base for Knitterman’s Fingering – 100% Superwash Corriedale.   I sent up a pretty good order and thought it would be my last.

Yesterday they sent me a private email:

Hello Ray

As you know, we announced earlier this year that we were dropping [the Corriedale superwash fingering].  We are down to about 100/lbs and I’d like to get this moved out as we have other new products coming in ….

And he made me an offer that would be impossible to refuse.  I would LOVE to get 50-75 pounds or more, but I don’t have the money for that.

Normally, the Knitterman’s Fingering BRS yarns were $21.50 apiece.   I am going to let you pre-order skeins here at $12.50 apiece, until next Monday, October 6 (the day I’m sending up an order for these).   After that, the BRS will again be $21.50 until it’s all gone and the supplier has totally run out.

You can select from the regular colorways on the Custom Dyes page OR you can have your skeins set aside for a future dye job of your choice, or get first pick of the Knitterman’s Fingering Blog Reader Specials when they come available.

How to get yours:   Just email me, put “K-man’s Fingering Special Offer” in the subject line, tell me how many skeins you want for $12.50, and whether you want a particular colorway or hold for future dyes or to preclaim Blog Reader Specials at potluck.   You’ll be among those getting preview pictures of the BRS so you can claim yours before others can see them.  Then I’ll write up your PayPal invoice for the number of skeins you want, plus the appropriate shipping to your location.

OR… if you just want to help order a bunch of that last remaining inventory, so I have stock on hand, you can drop any amount into PayPal (targeted to ray@knitivity.com) and indicate that it is toward Knitterman’s Fingering Special Purchase.
