Stonewashed Jeans
As you know, when I make a Twinset, I have two skeins in the same pouch, with the same dye, all worked together, to ensure (as closely as I can) that two skeins of yarn will play nicely with each other.
So while working up the dye jobs for last week I did a pair of Stonewash Jeans, along with a pair of something else and another pair of a different something else….. And I went to pack it all up, only to discover she wanted THREE Stonewash Jeans, not two.
It is a little more difficult to make three in a pouch, but it ensures better color compatibility than making three individuals …. or a Twinset and a Single. So I did 3 brand new ones all together so she’ll get 3 skeins the same.
And, thus, I end up with the original 2 skeins, all dyed up as a Twinset and ready to ship out this week. They are Knitterman’s Fingering, (100% Superwash Corriedale, ~460 yards each), normally $21.50 a skein. But they’ve already been labeled and I don’t want to RE-label them with BRS labels and log them onto the Blog Reader Specials area. So if you take them both together now, you can have the pair for $35, plus s/h. They’ll ship out on Saturday. Otherwise, I’ll have to relabel them as Singles for the BRS page and that’s just more work for me to do.
Just be the first to claim them by email, and they’re yours!
