First 2015 Mittens can be YOURS!
I started these just a couple weeks ago because I lost what I thought was my last pair of gloves. I found another similar pair in a drawer last week, so I’m good for now.
These are made with Lamb’s Pride 85/15 Wool/Mohair, worsted weight and knitted on size 4 needles, so they are thick and seriously warm. They will definitely felt over time with wear, further helping the insulation factor, and will only need a light gentle wash from time to time, with a flat air-dry.
They fit my hands just about right, an average adult male hand, and have an extra long cuff to avoid that dreaded draft between mittens and jacket sleeve. My daughter also tried them and they fit her as well, so they would fit just about any average sized adult.
I was planning to keep these for myself, but circumstances have changed and I truly need to sell these quickly. Normally, for the yarn and labor, a pair of hand-knit plain mittens would be over $120, but for $65.00 you can have this pair, and I will throw in Priority U.S. ($6.00) mail with that price (outside the U.S. postage will be extra) just to help move them along to you. These will go to the first person to claim and pay — just email me and request the Lamb’s Pride Mittens
UPDATE: it turned awfully cold today (Monday, Jan 4), and I HAD to run errands and I used these mittens. Now they are used, I can’t sell them as new, so I will keep them after all.
