I blew it… but YAYYY, anyway!!!
Yup, I totally blew it.
Y’member last September when I was able to get a really sweet deal on the Knitterman’s Fingering (100% Superwash Corriedale, ~460 yards per skein)? And several people ordered cones for me to dye up, with skeins held back for them to dye later or by special custom request?
Yeah, well…. One person’s request fell through the cracks. There are several other bags for several other people — two of them are getting dyed this week (finally… YAY), and I have written the owners of the other bags I could find.
And when this one customer asked about hers, I realized I had blown it — I couldn’t find her bag of yarn. EEEK!
So I zipped off a quick note to my supplier. GUESS WHAT!!!! He’s got 7 or 8 cones left, and he’s agreed to let me have the same sweet deal price as before. I’m already going to get 1 or 2 cones to fill this one customer’s order and have a little extra for myself.
BUT, if you loved the firm twist of the Knitterman’s Fingering and want one last chance to get hold of some, I’m putting my order in tomorrow for as many more as I can get hold of. He’s only got the 7 or 8 cones left (so roughly 20-24 pounds, at about 3 or 3.5 pounds per cone), and 4 skeins per pound.
If you want it and can pay it before my order goes up tomorrow, you can have it for $12.50 a skein. Just email me and tell me how many skeins you want to order — and I can hold them for you for later dyeing, or request a custom dye job right away.
I’d love to get alllll of his last remaining cones, of course (heck, at this price, who wouldn’t??) yet not everyone likes this yarn and not everyone has yarn money lying around for such a small window of opportunity, so that’s okay. But I would be remiss to not announce the opportunity anyway.
