The best laid plans of mice and men …..

I had my evening scheduled.  And I had my tomorrow scheduled.   And I had my weekend scheduled.   And then Mr. UPS came by.

I was expecting my box of dyes to arrive today.    Imagine my surprise when Mr. UPS delivered this load:

Yeah, surprised me!  So let’s unpack it……

First, replenishing supplies of most of my major dyes that were running too low for comfort:

And then — ohmahgawd!!!!! — LOOKIE WHAT I GOT!!!!

Yup!   The yarns I was expecting tomorrow night.  I was expecting to spend all of Saturday turning most of that pile into dyeable hanks.   But Saturday has a better chance of rain than tomorrow.  When pulling hanks from cones of the same type of yarn I do them outside to take advantage of my equipment to do 2 or 3 hanks at a time.

So, tomorrow I will be turning hanks into cones, and then spending the weekend dyeing.  And dyeing.  And then maybe, if I have time, some dyeing.    🙂
