Yarns Out / Yarns In

Today was (is?) a big day for me.   Lots of yarns went out (notice the coffee cup)

Those are all orders people have been waiting on, along with this weekend’s Blog Reader Specials.  LARGE load going out.

A little while after the mail carrier took all those goodies away, the UPS guy showed up.  Normally he parks at the street and walks boxes to the door.  Today, he pulled forward and backed into the yard nearly up to the ramp.

This is what came in the door:

It was 75 pounds.  He put it just inside the door, I think I pulled something just moving it this far!  No way could I actually lift it.

Oh, but I had a knife to slit the tape, and was able to unload it.    As I unloaded, I realized I ordered TOO MUCH of the Knitterman’s Lace.  I thought I ordered 6 cones, but apparently I ordered 8.     And a bit of the Primo Lace, lots of Phydlbitz, and some BFL Sport and some of the Lovely Sock and 1 cone of Indulgence.  I do need to order more of the Superwash Merino Fingering (it really is yummy!) and a couple other things.  But I have enough in-house to fill everybody’s orders.

Here’s the full load, on the same table as the out-going bin.  And the same coffee cup!!

So…. YAY!!!!!!!   I’m going to be busy for a while!   🙂
