Mid-June Odd Lots!
Wow…. y’member back in October 2013 my sister sent me a cone of Wool-Rayon laceweight yarn? And y’member I was frustrated because there were several skeins at had many knots/joins in them? Yeah, well, most of them got sold, finally, but there are still these two left, nearly identical, but not exactly Twins.
I believe they are a 50/50 blend, and the rayon doesn’t take up the dye the way wool does, so they have a fascinating sheen to them.
Here the two as originally photographed:
They were originally $25.00 apiece — a luxury yarn normally $40.00, but with several knots they were discounted. As I noted back in October 2013: “This yarn is very thin, so it is measured out and labeled at 1320 yards for 4 ounces, but actually it is closer to 1340-1350 — I deliberately added 4-6 yards per each knot I had to make. So there is PLENTY of yardage.” I want these out of my house, so you may have the pair for $35.00. Both are now claimed.
Also, in digging through the BRS bins I discovered all of these, waiting to be adopted:
They are:
