Introducing Cash Sock!
No, this isn’t the sock where you keep your dead pennies. This is 80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon. It has ~480 yards and is a little thinner than Phydlbitz Sock, but it has a lovely feel and would do well for knitted lace as well as for socks, summer sweaters, etc.
Because of the cashmere, it is more expensive than some of my other lines, and if I continue to carry it, the CashSock will be $37.00 apiece, but while this first cone lasts it will be $30.00 apiece so more people can try it. I dyed 6 full size hanks yesterday, and have enough on the cone for about 6 more. What I may do with the remainder is break them down into smaller, 2-ounce hanks so that more people can try it. I won’t decide that until next week.
I also dyed 6 more Sparkle Sock (92% Superwash Merino, 8% Lurex — $29.00, 409 yards), and 6 more Tropic Sock. (60% Superwash Merino, 30% Bamboo, 10% Nylon — $26.00, 430 yards).
To claim the ones you want, just email me with your numbered selection. If you’ve not ordered from me before, make sure to let me know what state or country you are in so that I can calculate the correct shipping/handling charge. I will send a PayPal invoice. This batch will need to finish drying and will ship on Friday or possibly Saturday (see note below the pictures).
Already Claimed: 294, 300, 305, 308, 309, 310
First up, the Sparkle Sock and Tropic Sock:

Possible shipping delays. I normally try to have yarns ready to ship within a day or two of posting these preview pictures. I found out yesterday that I’m getting new carpet in the living room this week — the landlady had mentioned it a couple months ago, and yesterday the landlord’s nephew came over and announced it would be this week. Since my “living room” is almost entirely filled with work stuff, it will have to be emptied into the work room and/or the bedroom while the living room is being carpeted. So, shipping on this batch of yarns will have to work around getting the carpet done. 🙂
Good morning Ray!
If someone has not beaten me to it, I would like to claim #296 and #301. Good luck with the carpet replacement – my house needs the same BUT we are daunted by moving a baby grand piano and an organ….SHEESH!!
Thanks – Melanie
