Last of the Knitterman’s Lace
Awrighty, then! Many months ago, I learned that my supplier would be discontinuing their 100% Merino laceweight yarns, and I bought as many cones of it as they would allow (they ran out quickly!), and I have made it last as long as possible. Yesterday I dyed up the very last of it, not counting the hanks that were pulled and set aside for specific customers — those will remain bagged until their owners decide how they want them dyed. I will, of course, be able to still get the Primo Lace (80/20 Merino/Silk), and in fact there should be more of that arriving next week.
I was surprised at the depth and richness of these yarns, since I didn’t go into the session with a particular theme in mind. I just used the colors in front of me, and this brilliant collection seems a marvelous way to end a run with a fabulous yarn base. 🙂
Normally I will wait until there is bright daylight and photograph the racks without flash. This morning it was questionable, so I took a shot with flash and one without flash in order for you to see what they look like. Both pictures below are identical except for the flash/no-flash.
Each of these are 100% Merino, laceweight, 1000 yards, $29.00 apiece.
To claim the ones you want, just send me an email, indicate your numbered selections, and let me know if you are outside the United States, so I can calculate the right amount for shipping/handling.
All remaining hanks are now moved to the Blog Reader Specials page.
These are beautiful, Ray!!
