Yarn of the Day – 9 Nov 16
I’ve had this project on my Ravelry Favorites for a while, and this week decided to try it. It’s the Virus Shawl, crocheted, which calls for 500-1000 yards of light-weight fingering with a size E crochet hook.
First off, it is insanely easy to do and the pattern is simple to follow (although I did make one small change), plus, as you can see, it is practically self-blocking! My plan is to crochet it first and then dye it in a gradient.
And, as luck would have it, this Twinset of Lovely Sock (80/20 SWMerino/Nylon) would be PERFECT for this project with a combined 860 yards, and an E or F hook. The Lovely Sock normally sells for $26.00, but you can have this Twinset bundled pair TODAY ONLY for $40.00. Just make sure your request is emailed to me with a time-stamp before midnight my time. This Twinset is now SOLD but other Phydlbitz Sock yarns are available on the Blog Reader Specials page.
