Tried a different method…
Okay, so I tried a different method for dyeing Phydlbitz Sock today. Actually I combined two different methods. I’m not sure I like this technique, but it definitely produces heavily saturated colors in the areas where I applied colors. I may play with this technique again next week.
These are pictured fresh from the wash/rinse, newly set out to dry. They will dry overnight, I’ll start reskeining tomorrow afternooon, if they are fully dry, and they’ll be ready to ship on Thursday or Friday.
All of these were dyed as Twinsets, but because of the technique they aren’t as nearly identical as some of my other Twinsets. Usually I skew the Twinsets for pictures so you can see all the colors in a Twinset, but these were dyed side-by-side without any shifting, so I have arranged these so that what you see facing you is the same as the backside of each one. If you are planning to claim a Twinset, I would strongly recommend using both hanks at once, alternating every other row — this will ensure a consistent overall color scheme, AND will likely help avoid any pooling issues.
To claim the one(s) you want, please send me an email with the item numbers you want. Phydlbitz are $26.00. Claim yours before Thursday for $22.00 apiece.
#798-799 is a dark dark brown, NOT BLACK, with parts of gold.
All the unclaimed ones are now posted on the Blog Reader Specials page; check there for current availability.
Please note: the first 806 is supposed to be 805, the twin of 804. My apologies.
Have 794 & 795 been claimed yet? Love the gold color in those! I could probably be coerced into taking the two of them if no one else has spoken for them. Let me know and bill me if available. I’m still at same address…

Hi Sharon: As of this moment, no one else has claimed 794 & 795. I’ll go write them up for you, along with a confirming email. Your comment was posted before the preview pricing expired, so you’ll get the lower price. 🙂
