One of my regular customers (Hi, Belinda!) came to me with an idea for her niece’s Tallit — her niece wanted “rainbow colors with some dark”, and also “rainbow flag colors — she wants to be noticed”. I had …Continue reading →
Valentine’s Day is coming up, and I wanted to give you a little something early. I hope you don’t mind too terribly. This way, you’ll get to enjoy it when the day actually arrives — assuming the mail system works! …Continue reading →
I put up a couple dozen Phydlbitz Sock hanks to dye this weekend. I should know better than to try making solids. No matter what I do, I can’t make solidly solid colors, and it frustrates the heck out of me. So this coming week I will be trying to correct what was done to at least improve it. I was aiming to create some sets of mini-skeins in assorted color combinations. None of the hanks turned out exactly as I wanted, so I need to spend more time making it right.
In the meantime, here’s a collection of a dozen normal Phydlbitz Sock, some Twinsets and some singles. These will be going to the Blog Reader Specials page on Tuesday.
To claim the ones you want just drop me an email (not blog post comment — I don’t get notified of those in a timely manner) with your numbered selections. I’ll send you a PayPal invoice and will start shipping these on Tuesday.
Please note: Twinsets are grouped in pairs, but rotated so that you can see all the colors that appear on BOTH skeins of the pair. You don’t have to claim both skeins of a Twinset if you only want one. Each Phydlbitz Sock is $26.00 apiece.
ALL the unclaimed ones are now posted on the Blog Reader Specials page — click to go there and see which ones remain available at the time of your visit.
The yarns I showed on Saturday have now been reskeined and the ones not claimed at preview pricing have been photographed for individual presentation over on the Blog Reader Specials page — go there to see the individual pictures and to confirm current availability.
Here are the group shots. First, the Lovely Sock (80/20 SW Merino/Nylon, 430 yards)…
Awrighty, then! It’s been an unusual week for many of us here in the States, but it’s been a GREAT year for Knitivity so far and I hope to keep it going!
Yarns for Socks … and so much more!
Yesterday I dyed up a batch of Lovely Sock and a batch of SW Merino Fingering, used some pent-up energies to combine dyes and yarns in assorted Twinsets. No particular theme in mind, just using various dye techniques. 🙂
To claim the one(s) you want, just email me and tell me the BRS-numbers of the ones you want. If you’re a new customer or haven’t ordered in a long while, be sure to let me know your destination state or country so I can apply the correct shipping charges.
For each of the Twinsets, I have rotated the skeins so that you can see all the colors within each pair. All of the Twinsets were dyed two-by-two in the same pouches to ensure color compatibility when you use both skeins in projects larger than socks or mittens. You are not obligated to take both yarns of a pair, of course.
Both the Lovely Sock and the SWMerino Fingering are normally $26.00. They will go to the Blog Reader Specials page at that price, but for today and tomorrow they are $22.00 apiece, and will be ready to ship on Tuesday
