Trying the New England Wool again
Normally, I would announce new Blog Reader Specials to the Knitivity Insider list, but because of time and other issues I won’t do that this week — I should be back on track next week. 🙂
A few weeks ago I tried the 100% New England Wool, sport singles and I was fairly happy with how they turned out. This weekend I tried a few of the 100% New England Wool 2-ply fingering – 390 yards. I’m not sure if it was the technique I used, or perhaps these are just unusual yarns, but I’m not entirely satisfied with them. The dyes didn’t behave at all as I expected, and if these don’t sell I may well overdye them. 😀 These are $20.00 apiece, no discounts available on these.
I also dyed up a dozen Lovely Sock (80/20 Superwash Merino/Nylon, 430 yards). Normally these are $27.00 but for today and tomorrow (Saturday and Sunday) you can claim the ones you want for just $24.00 each — just make sure your email request is time-stamped before midnight tomorrow night, Central Standard Time.
These will be ready to ship by Tuesday (possibly Monday, but at least by Tuesday).
To claim the ones you want just send me an email request, indicating your selection numbers, shown above each hank on the drying rack. All of the Lovely Sock were dyed as Twinsets; most of the New England Wool fingering are singles, except the first two. For all Twinsets I have rotated one hank of each pair so you can see the range of colors in each pair.
All of the unclaimed yarns from below have now been posted to the Blog Reader Specials page; be sure to click through and see which ones are available at the time of your visit.
