Did a week end or is a week beginning?
UPDATE: All of the yarns UNclaimed from the pictures below have now been posted the Blog Reader Specials page; click through to see which yarns remain available at the time of your visit. Shown here are the group shots of the unclaimed yarns as of this posting.
I can’t tell any more. I started the year off with a fairly consistent schedule, but it seems lately I am unable to stick to it. But the month is nearly over and I have to have done 400 skeins to meet the monthly requirement (self-imposed, but a requirement just the same). O’course, dyeing 400 skeins isn’t the same as dyeing-and-selling 400 skeins. 🙂
Before the new yarns, I wanted to show the current progress on my shawl project. This is as far as I got last night, after several incidents where I had to start over or tink back several rows. The side margins are 10 stitches wide, all twisted stitches, which are just outside the red markers on each side. I was afraid that inserting eyelets would be lost in the stitches, but the K2t and SSK decreases outside the yarn-overs actually seems to make a nice visual blip. I have future plans for these eyelet patterns. 🙂
Anyway, today I dyed up 24 Phydlbitz Socks, all twinsets this time. When appropriate for each Twinset I rotated one skein of each pair so you can see the color distribution of each pair. The first session I did, I was mostly using leftover dyes from the Mini-hank project I showed yesterday, and there are several “fantasy combinations” in the mix as well. (By the way, there is still one of the Minihank sets still available if you’d like to claim it.) 🙂
It’s been quite a while since someone sent me pictures of what you are knitting with the yarns that I dye. If you’d like to share your projects, either here or at the Knitivity page on Facebook, feel free to do so.
These will all be ready to ship by Wednesday — possibly Tuesday, but i like to give myself an extra day in case something comes up.
To claim the ones you want just send me an email with your numbered selections, and if you’ve not ordered before or for a long time, please be sure to mention your state or country so I can calculate correct shipping and handling charges. 🙂
