After a few more trips to the frog pond, I’ve once again been making progress on the shawl:

I am still liking how the eyelets break up the monotony of the stripes.   I’ve inserted a wide band of 6 eyelets (5 so far, 1 more to go) on either side, and then I’ll go back to the previous spacing sequence.  I may or may not incorporate some other geometric shaping ideas, but for now it is just a fairly easy simple knit project for when I’m not wanting to futz around with the reversible cable project or the washcloth project.  🙂

And I’ve pretty much given up trying to accurately sequence the colors for good light-dark contrast.
