A Short Collection this time — just 20 instead of 24 or 36.  but I’ll make up for it next weekend.  🙂

This afternoon I decided I would go ahead and use up the remaining Superwash Targhee/Nylon yarns I got in December.   These are all 85% Superwash Targhee/15% Nylon, 360 yards each.  These are the 8-ply cable-construction fingering yarns, not the regular SWTarghee/Nylon fingering my supplier normally stocks; they were part of a developmental yarn that never went into full production.

I began the afternoon with the idea of making the entire collection into Loners, but once I started into it, several of them demanded to be made into Twinsets. 🙂

All of these will be ready to ship by or before Tuesday, after they’ve dried thoroughly and been reskeined and labeled, and the unclaimed ones will be shown on the Blog Reader Specials page in individual presentation photos.

The lighter part of 433/434 is just the sunlight trying to peek through the leaves of the tree behind me.   I was hoping to get either all sunshine or all shade.  Some days the sun just conspires against me.

The main thing I am excited about here is that I am almost to the point I can transfer onto a single needle. 🙂   The back needle has remained at 40 stitches, while the front side has been growing.  Another cool thing is that even though there IS a front and back side, the back side is just as pretty as the front, in its own way.

I will likely carry on with the short needles before switching over to the much longer ChiaoGoo lace needles I just bought.  The shorter of those is 32 inches, so i’ll probably need to pull up a ‘magic loop’ for a long while once I switch to the longer needle.
