UPDATE: All of the yarns that were not claimed during the preview period from the racks shown below have now been posted to the Blog Reader Specials page; be sure to click through and see which ones remain available at the time of your visit. Shown below are the group shots taken earlier today.
It would be cruel to complain about the local heat when most of the Northern Hemisphere is experience record-breaking heat waves over the last couple weeks. Suffice it to say I’m dragging through the days just trying not to overheat. 🙂
This week I dyed up another couple dozen Phydlbitz Sock. I had intended to try some new things, and the nice folks over on Facebook offered some suggestions. I did the first batch trying some of the suggested ideas, and then for the second batch I ended up making mostly solids, and mostly by combining two or more jars of the dyes I mixed for the first batch. Thus, the solids are pretty much one-of-a-kind, since I was mixing two or three jars of dyes that had already been mixed, and there’s no way to match the proportions again.
The good part, though, is that most of these are the kinds of colors you can use with other solids for knitting two-color stranded work or other colorblock pieces, excellent for contrasts.
These will all be ready to ship on or before Tuesday.
To claim the ones you want, just send me an email, and if you are out of the U.S. be sure to let me know your country so I can calculate the right shipping/handling charge. I may be away from the computer sometimes, but all requests are honored in the order of their email time-stamp (the time you sent it, adjusted for my local time), so it’s always first come, first served.
These were all dyed as Twinsets, but you do not have to claim both hanks of a Twinset. Even the bundled Twinsets on the Blog Reader Specials page can be split if you only want one – just ask! 🙂
