Primo Lace, Part Two
ETA: All the yarns not claimed yesterday have now been posted to the Blog Reader Specials page. Be sure to click through to see which ones remain available at the time of your visit.
These are the group shots of the yarns just posted:
First, for those inquiring about the blanket project — I have just one more column of stitches to latch up for ribbing in the sides, and then 10 garter stitch rows across the top. I should be able to finish that this week, so I’ll have something to show you by next weekend. For the ribbing on the sides, I should have just knit straight across and then dropped the required stitches, instead of just leaving those needles out of work — it didn’t really leave enough yarn for easy latching up so the side ribbing is very very tight, which is why it is taking so long.
Also, starting tomorrow, I am joining a group of others in a 30-day challenge on how to do videos — tips and tricks on how to improve, as well as gaining confidence in making a good speaking presentation. Mostly it is about learning how to connect with viewers. With luck I may end up being able to show Blog Reader Specials and other projects in a video, as well as posting on static pages. 🙂
As promised last week, I have another two dozen Primo Lace (80/20 Merino/Silk, 1000 yards) for you this week. And, as last week, these are also preview priced a little lower than normal. They will be $32.00 once they get to the Blog Reader Specials page on Tuesday.
I went into the dye session yesterday without much of a plan, and then during the second batch I thought i’d try something different, and ended up making a few Twinsets in the mix. I didn’t group them as Twinsets this time since when they came out of the wash it wasn’t easy to pick them out so readily, and most people don’t really need 2000 yards of lace weight so Twinsets don’t much matter. At least, not as much with other yarns where you need multiples to complete a larger project.
To claim the ones you want, just send me an email and indicate your numbered selections, and make sure I know your state or country so I can calculate proper shipping. I normally ship by USPS First Class International to other countries, but if you want Priority International I can do that also. These will be ready to ship on or before Wednesday.
