Whee!!!   We made it to the end of 2018!   What a strange year it has been!   But we made it, and that’s what counts.

At the start of the year I made an intention to dye 100 Blog Reader Specials each month.  I slipped behind a little in November, but as of last night I have dyed 1202 BRS this year, and I have a few days remaining.  Woo-hoooo!!!!   I won’t dye again until next week.

I’m looking forward to what 2019 will bring, including changes in how I do things.

There are a LOT of pictures this time — I dyed 56 skeins this week, saving them all for this special End of the Year weekend.  These are all Phydlbitz Sock (75/25 Superwash Corriedale/Nylon, 430 yards each), all in Twinsets.   I am particularly excited about these because so many of them will work up excellently as shawls and other larger-than-sock projects, especially using two at a time, alternating between skeins.   Or, if you prefer, you might choose to select three different hanks for one of the popular “find your fade” type shawls.  While each Twinset is unique, I used many of the same dyes on each, so there are similarities and contrasts that will work together.  🙂
