Rich and Moody?
Okay, so after some struggles along the way with yarns and dyes, I finally got this week’s yarns to cooperate this morning! Even better, I am more happy with these after the struggles than I was aiming for to start with.
There are only 16 hanks this week instead of my usual 24. I’m hoping to put in an order this week for more. 🙂
All of these were dyed with a dry on wet technique, resulting in some rich and moody colorways that will work up with some dramatic results, whether for socks or shawls or something else.
Most of these will result in self-striping spiral-striping socks, but would be equally suited to larger two-skein projects. Some were dyed for contrasts, others dyed in gradient sequences. There was no black used this weekend, so the darkest darks are brown (492-493) and navy (498-499 and others) .
All of these will be ready to ship on or before Tuesday. Normally $27.00 each, you can get preview pricing for Saturday and Sunday at $25.00 — not having to photograph individual presentation pictures saves me time and money so you get the savings. 🙂
To claim the ones you want, just send me an email with your numbered requests.
All the unclaimed yarns are now posted to the Blog Reader Specials page.
