Nevermind the details, I got it done anyway!
What a(nother) strange week. I slept crappy Thursday night, and spent yesterday feeling like crap and not really ‘connecting’ with my colorbrain. And my granddaughter was here doing some yardwork so I was distracted frequently and didn’t manage to get “into the flow” of ideas. Instead of pressing through the fog, I set it aside last night and did the second batch of yarns this morning with a fresh brain and different ideas.
The yarns on the racks shown below are definitely NOT grouped into first batch and second batch, so there’s no way anyone else can tell which yarns were dyed when. After all, I’ve learned that my “disappointments” are often the first ones to be claimed so I try to withhold judgment when I can. 🙂
And in other good news, FedEx brought me more Phydlbitz but also some Primo Lace, so next week there will be Primo Lace instead of sock yarns. I’ve not had Primo for several months, so this should be some fun ahead.
All of this week’s collection should be ready to ship on or before Wednesday. As is my normal pattern, all yarns were dyed as Twinsets — same dyes in the same steamer pouch to ensure better color compatibility on larger-than-sock projects, but there’s no obligation to take both yarns of a Twinset. Many of this weeks colors will work well with each other as contrasts, so let your imagine go wild as you make your selections.
To claim the ones you want, just send me an email with your numbered requests. As best I can, I fulfill requests based on the email time-stamp, which are automatically adjusted for time zones, so wherever you are, it’s fair for everyone.
Phydlbitz Sock (75/25 Superwash Corriedale/Nylon, 430 yards) are $27.00 each, but for Saturday and Sunday, you can have the preview price of $25.00 each.
