Ooops… my bad!
A while back I showed the shawl in progress, but failed to show the completed project. This was done during my post-surgery recovery. I have now woven in all the loose tails, of course, and I’m currently enjoying it since it is barely 42ºF here in Houston.
It measures just about 80 inches across the top. I started with leftover yarns from my daughter’s pocket shawl, and then added the Pride Stripes. There are a few minor mistakes that would be too cumbersome to fix, but I’m not planning to sell this one anyway.
It is made with Plymouth Encore, worsted wt., an acrylic/wool blend that is really popular for projects that need to stay in shape during washing. I could have used my own Superwash Merino, but then I’d be using my inventory that should be kept for dyeing and selling. 🙂
