Many Colors, Many Choices!
Happy Sunday and Happy End of November! I completed my 67th orbit around the Sun yesterday; seems like every trip around gets faster and faster.
We’ve had a couple cold fonts move through this week; things are damp and chilly, so this week’s yarns may take an extra day to fully dry before reskeining. Fortunately, very little actual rain is in the extended forecast, so I still hope to get them ready to ship by Wednesday; Thursday at the latest.
Everything showing today is Phydlbitz II sock yarn (75/25 Superwash Corriedale/Nylon, 430 yards). The first bundle was to be a custom dye job, supposed to have been 4 distinct colors in a gradient set, but I didn’t get the visual distinction I was aiming for and some looked too similar to others, especially the two Twinsets in the middle. They will be posted to the Blog Reader Specials page as Twinsets, just as they were dyed. They were all dyed with adjusted saturations from the same dye batches, but I make no promises for these other than each Twinset was dyed together with the same dyes in the same pouches.
The rest of this week’s collection were dyed as Twinsets, except for the last one on each rack which are presented as Solo yarns.
I do apologize for today’s two Rack photos — heavily overcast skies made for less than vibrant photos.
I did not use any black this time. Several of the Twinsets have a dark band across the middle; most of those are a deep rich brown, but the band on Twinset #1011-1012 is a royal blue, and on #1028-1029 the band is a dark navy. I used several different dye techniques this week and nearly all the yarns have several colors applied to them.
All of these are normally $27.00 each but for Sunday and Monday, you may have any of this new collection (#1003 – 1036) for $25.00 each at Preview Pricing. Twinsets #1003 – 1010 (the ones already reskeined and labeled) will only be sold as Twinsets, but any of the rest can be taken individually.
To claim the ones you want, just send me an email with your numbered selections. I will send you a PayPal invoice; if you don’t have a PayPal account, that’s okay — they can process your credit or debit card payment, so be sure to provide your shipping address when you make your payment.
Also, since we are heading into the holiday season, if you see something a friend would like and wish to send a gift, I am happy to ship to your gift recipient anywhere in the U.S. And, I am happy to enclose a gift note for you if you tell me what to write, or I can send anonymously as a “Secret Santa” sort of gift. With international postal rates through the roof, and shipping restrictions to some countries still in place, I can’t promise international shipping at this time.
All the yarns not claimed from the preview racks below have now been photographed and posted to the Blog Reader Specials page; click through to see what is available at the time of your visit.
