Happy Sunday! I hope January is treating you well.
This week I pulled out dyes without paying attention. Usually I try to get one or two reds, a couple blues, and something from the yellows. This week, I ended up not having anything from the reds, but plenty blues, purple, and violet, plus a yellow and a gold. I also pulled out some black and gray.
These are all done on 100% Superwash Merino in a worsted weight, 210 yards in each skein. These are excellent for quick knits or crochet, and great for scarves, hats, etc., i.e., “One-Skein Wonders.” I thought I was dividing them equally into Twinsets and Single Skeins, but obviously I can’t count as I work. 🙂
The black I have on hand is actually a blend of two different blacks from two different manufacturers, so it comes up as a deep-deep charcoal. Twinset #49-50 is a mix of black and gray, while #72 is a solid in the black.
I was looking at this week’s colors and thinking which would be good for infants/toddlers or older kids or adults, and then realized that colors aren’t restricted to age groups any more than they are for genders. All of these colors would work for anyone who wants them and for whatever sort of project you want to knit of crochet.
I am thinking of pulling a random skein in the next few weeks to design a combo-craft hat of crochet AND knit into springtime hat/beanie, but I would love to see what sort of projects you might come up with.
SWMerino, worsted wt., is normally $27.50 per skein, but you can have any of this new collection (BRS23 – #49 – 72) for $25.50 when you claim them today or tomorrow (Sunday or Monday). I expect these to be ready to ship on or about Thursday, after reskeining and labelling.
To claim the ones you want, send me an email with your selections. Upon payment of your invoice, I will purchase and print your shipping labels so if I finish processing these yarns early, I can ship before Thursday.
