Happy Monday!

If you regularly visit the Blog, you may have noticed I did not present a new collection of Blog Reader Specials this weekend.

Last month I told you there would be changes with my yarn supplier.  I just checked to see what’s happening.  There’s a note saying they hope to get things back up by October 3, 2023.   Well, obviously that hasn’t happened as of this morning.  It is still early on the West Coast, so I’ll check back this afternoon.

In the meantime I am currently without my regular stock of yarns and without money to get more anyway, so I guess their Web site being not ready isn’t a big deal for me.   I was given some help from a couple of friends, so I was at least able to cover my monthly bills and will have food, so I’m not hurting.  And even if the regular supplier’s Web site isn’t up immediately I’ll be able to order some new yarns at the end of the month from somewhere else.

So, since it will be at least a couple weeks before yarns are available to show, I am refusing to stress myself over things I can’t change immediately, and giving myself a few days to just chill and ponder what might come next.  I feel no particular guilt in not producing a collection of Blog Reader Specials this week.

While I don’t have fresh yarns right away, there are still plenty of previously posted Blog Reader Specials ready to ship.  The more I can ship out this week and next, the more empty bins I can fill up with new yarns in the future.  🙂
