Back In Time?
Happy Sunday!
In the wee hours of this morning, most of the U.S. turned back their clocks to return to Standard Time. I won’t get into the controversy between Standard Time and Daylight Saving Time and all the pros and cons for one or the other. My issue is simply the hassle of changing the clocks back and forth. While I confess I prefer Standard Time (I’m an early bird and like early morning light), I think they should just pick one time clock and stick with it.
I only bring it up because I just happened to wake at 1:53a.m. so I turned on the computer and got to watch the digital clock switch from 1:59 to 1:00. Automatically, all by itself. This morning as my first coffee was getting ready, I manually changed the battery-operated clock in the kitchen, but the rest of my daily world changed on its own.
I went into the dye session wondering what my colors would demand of me. I made a few splatter dyes and some multi-color dual fade. And then (surprise!) the dyes decided they wanted to do fades, but only if I would mix two or more colors into the dipping bath. So while the fades appear to be regular monochrome fades, each of them was made with multiple colors.
These are all Phydlbitz Sock (75/25 Superwash Corriedale/Nylon, 430 yards each), normally $27.50 each, or $49.50 for a matching Twinset (10% off), but for Sunday and Monday you can take any two or more skeins, matching or not, at 10% off.
Just send me an email with your numbered requests. I’ll mark them off the Available Yarns tally chart below as soon as I get your request, then send your PayPal invoice. Since I post this announcement in several places, marking them off here makes it easy for people to see which ones have been claimed at the time of their visit.
I expect to have these ready to ship on or about Thursday.
