no other shop in your area will be selling my yarns
How to make it happen
(i.e., the "Fine Print")
Must be a brick-and-mortar physical store location with walk-in customers. You may announce the availability of Knitivity yarns via newsletters (online or snailmail) or Web site to your regular customers; sales must occur in person.
Minimum order: 50 skeins, in any combination (currently 50 x $24.95 = $1247.50 retail/$623.75 wholesale) (as of 01 April 08)
Must provide your state resale number.
Wholesale pricing for brick-and-mortar walk-in shops: 50% off current full retail at time of order, excluding special online sales pricing. (On-line sales: 40% off current retail.)
Colorways: must be ordered in multiples of 5 (10, 15, 20, etc. of however few or many colorways you wish)
Exclusive colorways: if you order 8 (or more) Knitivity colorways, you can have 2 colorways designed exclusive-to-your-shop. I'm always happy to work with you to create a colorway combination. (16 colorways = 4 exclusive colorways, etc.)
All orders are prepaid, and are processed more quickly via PayPal invoicing. (Payments by check require additional time for bank clearing.) Once your account is established, for subsequent orders you will simply email me your completed request, I prepare and send an electronic invoice with estimated current shipping rates based on weight. When it is paid, I will make sure the yarn is acquired, and have it dyed and shipped, normally within 15-20 business days (if there is a delay from the mill, you will be notified). You will be notified when yarn is dyed, and then again when it is shipped.
Returns: Returns are allowed
if the yarn itself is faulty (broken yarns, too many knots, etc.), although I make every effort to ensure there are no such problems, as I manually handle every length of every skein during the winding;
if you receive a colorway other than what was ordered
Returns not allowed:
if the colorway simply appears different from the picture viewed on your computer monitor; strict dye recipes are followed, and individually dyed art yarns always have variations
