I really appreciate the interest in the new Amethyst and Emerald colorway.   As I mentioned in the previous post, I’ve ordered new cones for several of my base yarns, and if you order any of them before the yarn actually gets here, you will get a 15% discount.

Based on the level of interest in this colorway, I will likely be adding it to the regular line-up after next weekend, at the regular prices.

One person requested Primo Lace  (80/20 Merino/Silk, 1000 yards, $29.00), asking for two skeins of the combo, plus one each for the solid amethyst and solid emerald.

Which leads me to mention ….

First, I have to order a new cone of Primo Lace to fill the order, which means there will be 6-8 additional hanks available for someone else to claim!  if you want some of this colorway on the Primo, including the 15% discount, this would be a GREAT time to get your order in, so that when that yarn arrives, you’ll already be in the queue and ready to be dyed.

Second, for this 15% intro discount, that also counts for the solid skeins!  So if you want solid Amethyst (purple) or solid Emerald (emerald) along with a skein of the combo colorway, you can also get the 15% discount.  Whichever yarn base you want — just get one or more of the combo, and ask for some solids, too.   But the 15% discount ends when this batch of yarn arrives on Friday … or Monday if it is weather-delayed.

As a hand-dyer, I need to remind that my “solids” DO come with variations along the strand.  I’m not a huge commercial dyer with giant vats of solidly solid colors.   My technique is one at a time and I get it as evenly saturated as I can, but it looks hand-dyed or kettle-dyed, rather than a commercial solidly-solid color.

So…. if you have been craving some Primo, there will be some in the house, for this colorway or some other colors at regular price.   🙂

Any hanks not claimed will be dyed up and sold at Blog Reader Specials, after all the regular orders have been dyed.
