These two Twinsets are both dyed on the European Style 8-ply sock yarn, ~425 yards, $25.00 apiece, and
both Twinsets are just one is still available.
Because of their strong variegation and mix of colors, they would be PERFECT for making the Shorty McRippleton Scarf!
Here’s another picture of the same scarf, all laid out so you can see how the effect works with different sequences of colors on the yarns. This was knit with an assortment of Falkland superwash sport weight,
but you can do the same thing with sock yarn, which I did for this scarf here; the colors are more muted, but you can still see how the knitting is back and forth, but the stripes are running zig-zag vertically!
You can make yours wider or narrower, lighter or heavier yarn, bigger or smaller needles … it doesn’t matter! Every yarn has its own color sequence, so even if you knit the same pattern over and over, each yarn will give you a slightly different resulting color pattern!
If you claim EITHER of these two TwinSets, I will send you the Shorty McRippleton pattern FREE into your email. Or, if you already have enough wild colored yarn and just want the pattern — just ask for it by EMAIL and I’ll invoice you for $6.00. (Actually, if you order ANY TWO yarns from the Blog Reader Specials page, you can have the pattern!)
251 & 252 are already claimed now.
