Brighter than Expected!
Along with dyeing up some special orders, I just dyed up some BFL Sport weight yarns for your perusal and adoption! They are all Blue-Faced Leicester, a lovely and lofty wool that knits up soft and comfortable. Each is 330 yards, and all are available for immediate claiming. When finished drying, plus reskeining and labeling, they will be ready to ship on Tuesday.
I thought I was using black and gray on #379, but it appears I was using one of the darkened blues/purples.
#381 is a version of Midnight Green with an overlay of Golden Yellow.
#383 is a deep brilliant red with chestnut tips. #382 is the same reds but with light gray tips.
#384 & 385 were dyed from the same jar of darkened purple: one with a very light sprinkling and the other with a full saturation and spreading with some lighter bits; these two would work well together in a light-and-dark themed project.
#387 & 388 are repeats of an old favorite colorway called “Dirty Mechanic” — reminiscent of the ubiquitous blue flannel rags in the auto shop, smeared and stained with dirty oil and engine crud. These two would work well together.
#386 is a mix of the reds, some blue/teal mixed, and some gold — this one is practically begging to be made into a winter hat — a deeply ribbed fold-up hem with a linen stitch crown.
