Blind Date Sale
I have received shipping notice that several cones of Phydlbitz Sock (75/25 superwash/nylon – 430 yards) and Knitterman’s 100% Superwash Merino Fingering (420 yards) will be arriving here on Wednesday next.
Not counting the committed orders, there will be about 4 dozen Phydlbitz and 2 dozen K-man’s Superwash Merino Fingering available for turning into Blog Reader Specials!
That means it’s time for a Blind Date Sale, from now through Wednesday – 20% off plus free shipping (inside the U.S. — if you are international, please email me to calculate your first class international shipping. Once Thursday arrives and I’m pulling hanks from cones, this offer goes away. I will pull hanks on Thursday and start dyeing either Thursday afternoon or Friday, with shipping on Saturday or Monday.
“Blind Date Yarn” means you won’t see it until it arrives in your mail box, but it WILL be correctly labeled as to fiber content. 🙂
Your Blind Date Yarn will be freshly dyed as a Blog Reader Special (i.e., applying my own artistic license) on your choice of Phydlbitz or Superwash Merino. If you want 2 or more, you are welcome to request a Twinset, to be sure your skeins work well together if you wish. You can even use the Special Instructions box to suggest “blues mix”, or “No Yellows, Please”, or “segmented colors”, or “Knitivity’s watercolor technique blends”, or some other request.
Both the Phydlbitz Sock and the Superwash Merino Fingering are normally $26.00 a skein, so you’re getting 20% off.
Now that the yarns have arrived and I have begun dyeing and posting, the Blind Date Sale is now ended. You can begin claiming the ones you want on today’s blog post for 14 October 2015.

I like this idea a lot!
As for the holiday season, we knitters need to remind friends and family that hand – dyed yarn is one of those GREAT gifts for under $25 or $30 and for a knitter or crocheter, there is NO such thing as “too much yarn,” or “don’t you get bored getting yarn all the time?”
