For those who are interested, I am fine and dry. If you’ve been watching the national news, Houston has had a major dump of rain, up to 20 inches in some parts of the surrounding area, along with flash flood warnings, tornado warnings, etc. My front yard was partially flooded this morning …
but the water has gone down some now this evening, with rain off and on through the day, and another 2 days of rainfall expected.
I did most of my errands over the weekend, and have no need to go running about anywhere anyway, so I’ll just stay in and work on yarns. I didn’t dye any today, but I have pulled hanks for a worthy dye session tomorrow with almost 40 hanks lined up, including the last of the Tropic Sock, and some 60/40 Merino/Bamboo worsted weight (it was listed as a worsted weight yarn, but it is lighter and has a lot more yardage than some of my other worsted weight yarns).
With luck I will have some freshly dyed yarns to show by Wednesday. If the weather doesn’t allow for outside previews on the racks, I may have to come up with a different way to present the individual hanks as they go to the Blog Reader Specials page.
