I started off Thursday morning with grand plans for a terrific weekend sale.  And now the long holiday weekend is nearly one-third over, and I’m just now showing the racks for this week’s Blog Reader Specials.   One thing after another — dyes not striking right, other dyes coming up just ugly and needing to be over-dyed…. and just when I thought I had decent pictures, I brought them camera inside and realized I had to wait for the sun to just barely descend behind the other trailer so I didn’t get sunshine-and-shadows all over the yarns.

Anyway, I FINALLY got the yarns I wanted, and the pictures I wanted.  So… hurrah!!!!   And actually there are two more Twinsets that will be shown on the BRS page — they had to get the dyes re-set with another acid bath.

So, for now, we have 20 Merino DK (100% Merino, 250 yards) and 8 Phydlbitz Sock (75/25 Superwash Corriedale/Nylon, 430 yards).   These are all dyed as Twinsets, but you don’t have to take both hanks of a Twinset as they are marked for individual sale.   They will be ready to ship on Tuesday (Monday is a mail holiday).   Most of the Merino DK are solids or nearly-solids, although some (476 & 477, 478 & 479, 490 & 491, and 494 & 495) are either segmented or layered multi-color.   All of the Phydlbitz are multi-colors, including 500 & 501, which are black-and-charcoal two-tone fade.

To claim the ones you want, just send me an email with your numbered selections. All requests will be honored in the order of their email time-stamp — whatever your local time is, the email system adjusts for my local time zone, so it is fair for everyone around the world.  As always, these are mostly one of a kind and cannot be exactly repeated — especially the ones I had to over-dye with different colors to balance them out.
