UPDATE: All the Blog Reader Specials that were not claimed from the rack photos have now been posted to the Blog Reader Specials page; please click through to see individual presentation photos and to check there for which yarns are available at the time of your visit. Here are the group shots of the unclaimed BRS yarns from this weekend:
What a week it has been — record heat in many places, the Saharan Dust covering much of the Gulf Coast this weekend, and little ol’ me just trying to survive the ride. 🙂
Those who are keeping track know that I’ve been trying to bring you 100 Blog Reader Specials a month, and so far it’s been working. After last weekend I was up to 598. Since it takes time and energy to set up and dismantle my work space, I’m rarely in the mood to just dye two skeins, so I went ahead and dyed 30, which put me well over the month’s goal. 🙂
One Twinset didn’t make me happy, so I’m going to modify that one later on, but there are fourteen other Twinsets. As suggested in the previous post, I did two “Mother of Pearl” (601-602 and 613-614) and two “Patina” (599-600 and 619-620). There is also “Teal Marl” (625-626), “Partly Cloudy” (617-618), and “I Tried to Grab the Fog … and Mist” (621-622). I don’t actually name my colorways any more — too many to name them all, and too difficult to consistently duplicate — but it’s still fun when a particular dye job suggests names. 🙂
These are all Phydlbitz Sock (75/25 Superwash Corriedale/Nylon, 430 yards). I am aiming to have these all ready to ship by or before Tuesday — probably Monday, but definitely Tuesday.
To claim the ones you want, just send me an email indicating your selections.
