Let the Fun Begin!
Okay, people, let the fun begin. First, tomorrow I dye the colorways for the After Hours Collection, and will try to present them for you on Friday or Saturday. Yes, I showed you a picture in the last post, but it was from a few years ago, and I want to present a current picture of how they will be with my current techniques. Same basic recipes, but I have changed over the years and my yarns have changed with me, so I want to be sure what I show this month for pre-sale is what I am producing this month. 🙂
Meanwhile — y’member my computer died over the weekend and with help from friends I was able to buy a new one, with external hardrive for back up and some related necessities? So, EVERYthing arrived today, including the computer that was promised for tomorrow. We all know setting up a new computer can take time. I need to back up everything from this computer onto the external hard drive — that’ll take a while — and meanwhile go find another plug-in to get the new computer set up. Then download all my programs (esp. GIMP and OpenOffice), and get the new computer arranged the way I want. Then upload all the stuff on the external hard drive into the new computer. When I am satisfied that I am established on the new one, I need to figure what to do with this one. It turns off randomly, some programs/functions don’t work, etc., etc., and I don’t know if the hard drive itself is faulty, or maybe there’s something in the programming (which a good clean and reformat would likely solve). We shall see….
Anyway, that appears to be what my weekend looks like. :-/ I hope your weekend looks more interesting.
